Sam Craft is a full time photojournalist based in North East Texas. Every day he covers the events that shape people's lives in and around the small community of Paris. Over the past 10 years his images have appeared in USA Today, The Dallas Morning News, The Houston Chronicle , MTV Publications and numerous other newspapers and magazines all over the US. A native Texan, Sam grew up in the small East Texas town of Palestine. During his time at Stephen F. Austin State University, he began his career as a photojournalist, starting as a staff photographer for his college newspaper "The Pine Log" and later becoming the photo editor as well as serving as "The Stone Fort" year book editor. After graduation he moved to Paris to take a staff job at "The Paris News," where he is currently the Chief Photographer. He accepts freelance jobs in the DFW Area as well as East Texas, Southeastern Oklahoma, Southwestern Arkansas and Northwestern Louisiana.
