Lamar County landowner Julia Trigg Crawford says she spends over 40 hours a week studying laws, making phone calls, exchanging emails and researching her family's fight for property rights against Transcanda. The Crawfords were awarded two restraining orders against TransCanada by local and appellate courts that were later dissolved regarding the proposed construction of the Keystone Pipeline across the family’s land. The jury trial appealing the condemnation is currently set for April 30th.
